A 17-week program on construction management will begin Saturday, Nov. 22.
The program will be sponsored by a group including the Akron Urban League, the Minority Contractors Business Assistance Program and the Minority Business Development Center.
Cost is $100. The workshops will be held at the Urban League, 440 Vernon Odom Blvd. in Akron.
Subjects to be covered include estimating, bidding, contract risk, accounting, insurance, bonding, safety, scheduling, field operations and marketing.
