AirTran Airways has brought back daily nonstop flights from Akron-Canton Airport to Fort Myers, Fla.
Flights now leave Akron-Canton Airport at 7:30 a.m. and arrive at Southwest Florida International Airport about 10 a.m.
The return flights from Florida are scheduled to leave at 7:22 p.m. and arrive in Northeast Ohio at 9:56 p.m.
This is the fourth year in a row for this particular nonstop flight service.
Fort Myers is the top winter getaway location for Northeast Ohio residents, according to Akron-Canton Airport. Flights will operate through the middle of May.
AirTran also has nonstop flights from Akron-Canton Airport to Orlando and Tampa.
