A nonprofit organization working on home foreclosure problems in Akron will hold a public meeting on Monday.
The group called American Homeowner Preservation Inc. will meet from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Hampton Inn-Akron South, 3235 S. Arlington Road, Green.
The group said the meeting is the last opportunity until next spring for homeowners to apply for a procedure of selling their home and then leasing it back.
The group said it has collected nearly 300 applications in the Summit County region.
AHP Ohio's phone is 330-470-4200 and the Web site is http://www.ahpoh.org. The executive director is Rob Fredericks.
