Mentoring group to launch chapter

An organization focused on mentoring immigrant and minority entrepreneurs will launch its Ohio chapter Dec. 8.

TiE Ohio becomes the 50th chapter of TiE Global, a nonprofit with 12,000 members in 11 countries.

The event will be held at the House of Blues, 308 Euclid Ave., Cleveland. Cost is $20 per person.

Ohio Lt. Gov. Lee Fisher is to open the event, which begins with registration at 4 p.m. BioEnterprise President Baiju Shah is scheduled to speak.
