American Homeowner Preservation reported it has helped 205 Summit County homeowners keep homes that were in danger of foreclosure.
The young nonprofit group assists qualified homeowners by allowing them to sell and then lease back their home at lower payments, with an option to buy.
AHP Ohio said it helped stop or reverse more than a dozen sheriff's sales in Summit County.
The group said it also arranged for free legal representation for more than 72 families.
