The following is the list of physician investors in Summa Western Reserve Hospital, formerly known as Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital.
According to federal rules, physician-owned hospitals are required to tell patients that doctors have an ownership interest in the facility. The hospitals also must make the physician investor list available to their patients if requested.
Although Summa Western Reserve Hospital was not required by law to disclose the investor list, its leadership agreed to a request by the Beacon Journal for the information.
Dr. Robert Kent, the hospital's chief executive, said Western Reserve plans to promote its local doctor investors in an upcoming marketing initiative.
''We're proud of it,'' he said.
