Wadsworth KeyBank opens

Beacon Journal staff report

KeyBank opened its newest branch in Wadsworth on Monday.

The branch at 793 Ambassador Drive is in front of a new Giant Eagle grocery store.

The branch is the 10th new unit Key has opened in Northeast Ohio. Key said it now has nearly 120 branches in the region.

''The popularity of ATMs and online banking does not lessen the importance of bank branches,'' Tom Tulodzieski, president of KeyBank's Eastern Ohio District, said in a news release. ''Clients tell us they want choices and prefer a mix of ways to conduct their banking transactions. This branch will provide greater conveniences and options for our clients.''

In addition to regular banking features, the branch has two drive-through teller windows, an ATM, safe deposit boxes and Saturday hours.

Cleveland-based Key has approximately 16,400 employees in 1,003 branches in 14 states. There are 16 branches in Summit County. There are nearly 6,000 employees in Northeast Ohio.

You'll get them soon enough, Lebwoski.
