SS&G

SS&G was ranked as the 38th largest accounting firm in the U.S., according to the 2014 list of Top 100 Firms published by Accounting Today. The publication considered annual revenue and overall growth in the ranking. With revenue growth of nearly 14 percent in the past year, SS&G moved up from 39th. The company also ranked in the top five firms in the Great Lakes region.

SS&G Healthcare

SS&G Heathcare said it acquired two health-care consulting firms in the Ohio River Valley region, specializing in physician management and billing. The transactions involving River Valley Health Care in Yorkville, Ohio, and JPL Enterprises in Wheeling, W.Va., occurred this year. SS&G Healthcare said all employees from both firms were retained.

North Randall Northfield, LLC

North Randall Northfield LLC has purchased the 285,000-square-foot former Sears property in the Cleveland suburb of North Randall. Affiliates of Industrial Realty Group have taken possession of a large part of the former mall property. The purchaser is also affiliated with IRG. The site has 22 acres. The buyer said its plan is to redevelop the entire former Randall Park Mall site for light industrial use, but to keep the Sears store intact for a future tenant.

HD Davis CPAs acquired Greg Spey CPA Accounting and Tax Services in Liberty, Ohio.
