Buehler’s Fresh Foods

The Ohio Department of Commerce’s Division of Liquor Control approved the liquor-license transfer from Gary’s Liquor Agency to the Buehler’s Milltown location in Wooster. Buehler’s Milltown location will incorporate the state liquor agency as part of the store’s remodeling by mid-2014. Buehler’s will operate the business at the Gary’s Liquor Agency location until the remodeled Milltown store is ready to accommodate the move.

SS&G

SS&G won a 2013 Edge Award for Outstanding Marketing Initiative from LEA Global at the awards meeting of the international association of accounting firms. The award was given in recognition of SS&G’s most recent ad campaign on de-mystifying tax, assurance, accounting and consulting processes. Also, SS&G’s senior managing director Gary Shamis, a founder of LEA Global and former LEA Innovative Firm Leader, was honored for service and leadership with a 2013 Legends Award.

Medina Creative Therapy Ranch

Medina Creative Therapy Ranch will have a grand opening at 4 p.m. Wednesday. The facility is at 5192 Lake Road in Medina. The ranch is a Medina Creative Housing Life Steps program offering therapeutic horseback riding for individuals with disabilities.
