Ohio gas prices a little higher to start week

Associated Press

COLUMBUS: Ohio motorists will find gas prices slightly higher to start the work week.

The cost for a gallon of regular gas in Ohio was averaging $3.31 in Monday’s survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and WEX Inc. That’s a nickel higher than the average last Monday and a penny less than the price at this time last month.

The national average is about $3.28 per gallon, which is nearly unchanged over the past month, and 23 cents lower than at this time last year.

The lowest average price in Ohio on Monday was $3.24 in Cincinnati.
