Here are store hours for some area retailers for Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday:

Thanksgiving Day

Acme and Buehler’s stores are closed on Thanksgiving Day.

Giant Eagle stores open at 6 or 7 a.m. Thanksgiving Day. Most stores close at 4 p.m. Stores in Canal Fulton and Louisville will close at 2.

Some Giant Eagle locations will also be open at 3 a.m. Friday for shoppers to buy gift cards and earn extra Fuelperks gasoline discounts. Locations open include Wadsworth, Stow, Green, Howe Avenue in Cuyahoga Falls and West Market Street in Fairlawn.

Old Navy: The Fairlawn and Medina stores are open at 9 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day. The Chapel Hill and Jackson Township stores are closed.

Black Friday: Akron-area malls

Aurora Farms Premium Outlets: midnight Friday

Summit Mall: 4 a.m. (About 20 stores will be open at midnight)

Westfield Belden Village Mall: midnight Friday

Chapel Hill Mall: 6 a.m. Friday (About 16 stores will be open at midnight)

Lodi Station Outlets: 11 p.m. Thursday

Other Akron-area retailers

Best Buy: midnight Thursday

Kohl’s: midnight Thursday

Kmart: 6 a.m. Thursday, 5 a.m. Friday

Macy’s: midnight Friday

Sears: 4 a.m. Friday

Target: midnight Friday

Toys R Us: 9 p.m. Thursday

Walmart: Stores that are open 24 hours should be open on Thanksgiving Day. Sales for toys begin at 10 p.m. Thursday, midnight Friday for electronics.
