Dr. Paula Sabella joins Akron Children's Emergency Department

AKRON, Ohio (October 29, 2008) -- Paula Sabella, M.D., F.A.A.P., has joined Akron Children's Hospital's Emergency Department at the hospital's main campus in Akron. Dr. Sabella will be providing care in the ER's Fast Track program, which treats patients with minor to moderate injuries and illnesses in a timely and efficient manner.

Prior to joining Akron Children's, Dr. Sabella served as a pediatrician with Pediatrics of Akron, Inc, a private group pediatric practice, for 15 years. Dr. Sabella earned her medical degree from the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Rootstown, Ohio, and completed her pediatric residency at Akron Children's Hospital.

Dr. Sabella, who resides in Fairlawn, is board certified in general pediatrics and is a fellow with the American Academy of Pediatrics.
