NAI Cummins Real Estate recently sold a 54,000 sq. ft. craned, manufacturing facility to American Utility Metals, located at 1246 Princeton St. in Akron, Ohio.American Utility Metals, headquartered in Baton Rouge, La. purchased the property from Vasilev Holdings of Scarborough, Ontario for an undisclosed price. The single-story industrial property had formerly been leased to AUM for by their subsidiary, American Utility Processing, a joint venture between AUM and a local investor that was formed in 2003. AUP is a premier distributor of Utility Grade Stainless Steel 3CR12, a registered trademark of Cromweld Steels Limited.
Bob Raskow, SIOR and Harry Stewart represented the buyer and seller in the transaction.
