Jess Hurst is recognized by Strathmore's Who's as Professional of the Year in Financial Planning. Earlier this year, Hurst had been recognized as a lifetime member of Strathmore's Who's Who. Hurst is a Founding Partner and President of the Millennial Group, A financial planning firm which specializes in providing financial planning services to individuals and corporate employees planning for a fulfilling retirement transition. He is highly knowledgeable in the areas of investment portfolio management, retirement planning and retirement income planning. He has earned the professional designation of Certified Financial PlannerTM (CFP®). Jess, along with several other financial professionals, formed The Millennial Group in 1997.
Jess said "Being named Strathmore's Who's as Professional of the Year in Financial Planning is certainly an honor. However, I believe that it reflects The Millennial Group's dedication to serving our clients and helping them stay on course to meet their retirement dreams and goals, especially in a challenging economic and market environment like we have had over the last year or so. Jess is a member of the Financial Planning Association and served as President of the Northeast Ohio Chapter. Jess is also a Qualified Kingdom AdvisorTM with the Kingdom Advisors Network. He has served as Chairman of the Stow-Munroe Falls Chapter for Character Counts! Jess is the past President of the Stow-Munroe Falls Chamber of Commerce, Vice-President of the Stow Community Foundation and is President of Heart to Heart Communications. He has served as President of Victory Life Church and Cornerstone Community School, which are both in Stow. Jess is a graduate of Leadership Stow and Leadership Akron, where he was elected Class XXII President and has served on the Alumni Board.
Jess and his wife Kimberly live in Stow with their two sons.
