Medina Gymnastics Academy Levels 3-8 competed at the Gym Stars Holiday Competition on December 4-5, 2009 in Uniontown, Ohio. The girls performed well and took home several top spots.
In Level 3, in the 6 and under age group, Shayla Ramey was 4th on vault and 5th on bars. In the 8 year old division, Olivia Ramey was 2nd on vault and 5th on bars. Kenzie Ozborn was 3rd on vault. Samantha Carper was 4th on vault. Competing as a 9 year old, Kaylee Neura was 4th on vault. In the 10 and up age group, Katia Lull was 2nd on bars, floor and all around and placed 4th on vault and beam. Emma Schooley was 3rd on floor and 4th on vault. Madelyn Deighton, Katie Mone, Mara Mack, and Brittany Webb also competed.
In Level 4, Competing in the 7 and under group, Madisyn Meers was 3rd on floor, 4th on beam and all around and placed 5th on bars. Addison Kasian was 4th on vault and bars, and was 5th in the all around. Meghan Deighton was 3rd on beam. Jenna Sterk was 2nd on vault and Ellie Robertson was 5th on vault. In the 8 year old division, Lea Schroth was 1st on vault, 2nd on beam and in the all around, and she placed 3rd on bars. MacKenzie Segar was 5th on bars, beam, floor, and all around. Elysia Fornaro was 3rd on floor. Also competing as level 4s were, Kylei Kosek, Paige Gossett, Maya Saadeh, and Sadie Wilcox.
Competing as level 5’s, in the 8 and under division, Alexis Gordon was 2nd in the all around, 3rd on vault and beam and 5th on bars. Ashley Donahue was 4th on beam and Avery Kasian was 4th on floor. In the 9 year olds, Madison Segar was 2nd on beam. Julia Parmelee was 2nd on beam in the 10 year old group. Erin Sievers, Eva Brinkman, Mia Gambaccini, Brianne Jenkins and Danielle Kendel also competed.
In Level 6, in the 10 and under group, Jessica Froncek placed 1st on bars, beam, floor and all around. She was 3rd on vault. Jenna Mattox was 2nd on vault, bars, and in the all around. She also placed 3rd on beam and floor. Lauren Romano placed 1st on vault, 2nd on beam and floor, 3rd in the all around and was 4th on bars. Lisa Wangler was 4th on vault, floor and all around and placed 5th on beam. Hannah Daulbaugh was 4th on beam and 5th on bars and floor. In the 11 and up group, Alexandra Ciccotelli was 1st on bars, beam and in the all around. She was 4th on vault and floor. Megan Sievers was 1st on vault, and 2nd on bars and all around, 3rd on floor and 4th on beam.
In level 7, Hannah Toton was 1st on beam, floor and all around, and placed 2nd on bars and vault. Danielle Stewart was 3rd on bars, floor and all around. Dylana DiPietro placed 3rd on beam and floor. In level 8, Erin Chips was 1st on floor, and 4th on beam. Sami Borrelli was 3rd on bars and floor and 5th on vault. Maddy Brandt was 4th on bars and 5th on floor. Kira Palmer also competed.
