The annual ‘All You Can Eat’ Spaghetti Dinner sponsored by the Copley-Fairlawn Kiwanis Club is set for Friday, Oct. 5 in the Commons of Copley High School, 3807 Ridgewood Rd., Copley.“This is the 33rd year we have been sponsoring the Spaghetti Dinner,” said Michael Dunn, chairman of the event. “All money we take in goes right back into the community in the form of college scholarships or to help youth-related activities or families who might need a little extra help.”
Volunteers from the Copley-Fairlawn Kiwanis Club will be serving up the food with help from the high school’s Kiwanis Key Club organization. The first helpings of spaghetti will be served starting at 4:30 p.m. and will continue until 7:00 p.m. Customers can return for additional free helpings of spaghetti as many times as they want.
The spaghetti dinner will be followed by the homecoming football game between Copley and Tallmadge.
“We would like to extend an invitation to all the loyal Tallmadge football fans to come early and enjoy a hearty meal prior to the game,” said Bob Panovich, president of the Copley-Fairlawn Kiwanis Club.
Tickets for the spaghetti dinner are $5.00 per person, $4.00 for students. Children under the age of 5 will be able to eat for free. Tickets can be purchased from any Copley-Fairlawn Kiwanis Club member or at the dinner on Friday, Oct. 5.
