The ISO 9000:2000 certification is an important milestone for GMP Friction Products. It recognizes and validates their commitment to delivering the highest quality service that their customers have come to expect. The certification was achieved following a rigorous audit of their quality program and conformation to the ISO 9000:2000 standards for manufacturing excellence.
Globally recognized and respected, ISO 9001:2000 standards are set by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), a Geneva-based worldwide federation of national standard bodies.
ISO is a network of the national standards institutes of 159 countries, one member per country, with a Central Secretariat in Geneva, Switzerland, that coordinates the system. ISO is a non-governmental organization that forms a bridge between the public and private sectors.
