AKRON, OHIO December 3, 2009: AseraCare Hospice Foundation has donated funds to three area agencies:
• Grief Care Place-Stow, Ohio
• Camp Quality Ohio-Akron, Ohio
• Violet’s Cupboard-Akron, Ohio
The mission of the Aseracare Hospice Foundation is to enhance the quality of life in the communities that AseraCare serves. This mission is achieved by promoting and supporting end-of-life care and services through community education, supporting local charities as well as state and national hospice organizations.
Initiatives include:
• Materials for community lending libraries.
• Community education of hospice as it relates to end-of-life care.
• Donations to state and national hospice organizations.
• National charities that support issues related to hospice and end-of-life care.
• Funding promising research and development that enhance quality of life related to Hospice patients either directly or indirectly.
