It’s Monday morning. It’s likely dark when you get up, and dark when you arrive home from work. You may have brought up the end of the line for the shower, and thus weathered a cold one. Perhaps the dog wasn’t as cooperative on that icy early walk, or that desired pair of pants remained hidden in the closet.
The car wouldn’t start? The boss wants your report yesterday, and it won’t be completed until tomorrow? And that guy a couple of desks over keeps taking credit for your hard work?
This is looking like a “terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.” Until that is, a little perspective arrives. That’s right, fellow Ohioan John Boehner also must go to work this morning. And you know what the House speaker faces.
