Q: Can you please tell us if the African-American guy who runs the newsstand on the sitcom ''Becker'' with Ted Danson is really blind and if he has done any other acting.
A: Alex Desert, who played Jake on the comedy, is not blind. His other credits include The Flash and Boy Meets World. He has also been active as a musician, including with the band Hepcat.
