AND FALL EVENTS

Third Annual Family Halloween Spooktacular — 7 p.m. Friday at First Congregational Church, 292 E. Market St., Akron. Presented by the Akron chapter of the American Guild of Organists. Scary music, costume parade, Halloween party and prizes. 330-253-5109.

Boo at the Akron Zoo — Oct. 17-19, 24-26, 30-31 at the Akron Zoo, 500 Edgewood Ave., Akron. Hours are 3-8 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, 5:30-8 p.m. Thursdays and Friday.
