Annie Lennox is to receive the AMA's Award of Merit.
Jimmy Kimmel is set to host the 36th annual event. Orly Adelson, president of Dick Clark Productions, the show's producer, called Kimmel ''a masterful host with incredible spontaneity and wit; audiences can expect a great night.''
