Here is a listing of July 4th activities that will be held in Summit County as we celebrate the birth of our Nation.

Akron
July 2nd and 3rd - 11 a.m.-11p.m, July 4th - 11a.m.-9:30 p.m. - Lock 3 Rib, White and Blue Food Festival. For further information go to www.lock3live.com
July 4th - Celebration on the M.L.K. Jr. Freeway. There will be a special performance by Soul'd Out at 7:30 p.m. followed by a fireworks display synchronized to patriotic music played by WKDD 98.1 FM. Rain date will be July 5.
Coventry
June 27th - Antique Boat Show - 9:00a.m.-3:00 p.m. at The Olde Harbor Inn and Hook, Line and Drinkers.
July 5th - 34th Annual Boat Parade - 1 p.m. beginning at Leighton's Boat House on East Reservoir ending at Lakes State Park Beach.
July 5th - Sand Castle Contest at Portage Lakes State Park Beach. Call 330-644-2220 for more information
24th Annual fireworks Display at Mason's Point on Turkeyfoot Lake (at dusk). Simulcast on 106.9FM.
Cuyahoga Falls
July 3rd - 5-11:30 p.m. at Falls River Square - "Rockin' on the River."
Fairlawn
June 28th at Bicentennial Park (3486 S Smith Rd). Concert begins at 7 p.m., fireworks between 7:30 and 10:30 p.m. depending on the weather.
July 4th - Parade begins at 6:30pm at Fairlawn Town Center and ends at Summit Mall Dillard's lower level.
June 27th - 2-11 p.m. - 3rd Annual Freedom Fest at Boettler Park, 5300 Massillon Rd - Visit www.cityofgreen.org for a complete list of events.
June 27th - Fireworks display at approximately 10:15 p.m. in Hudson
July 3rd - Fireworks at dusk - Barlow Hill Farm. Rain date July 5th at dusk

July 4th - Parade begins at 10 a.m. at Rt. 59 Stow Glen Retirement Village and continues past Holy Family Church.
New Franklin
July 5th - Fireworks at Portage Lakes at approximately 10 p.m. Rain Date July 6th at dusk.
Reminderville
July 3rd - Kids Night at the movies, 8 p.m. on the grass behind the Village Hall.
Parade at 11:00 a.m. beginning at the Village Hall Parking Lot with fun and games following the parade at Aurora Shores Marina at approximately noon.
July 4th - 7:30 a.m. Stow Firecracker Run at Holy Family Church.
July 4th - Parade begins at 10 a.m. Rt 59 Stow Glen Retirement Village and continues past Holy Family Church.
July 5th - Red, White, and Blue Kite Fly at Silver Springs Park 1 p.m.
