The event everyone looks forward to! Enjoy quality arts and crafts, entertainment and more. The Akron Arts Expo weekend will be held at Hardesty Park, 1615 W. Market St., at the corner of W. Market and Wallhaven. This years Expo weekend will be held July 23-26. Admission to the Arts Expo is free.
The weekend begins on Thursday, July 23, with the annual Taste of Akron, the most delicious event to hit the area. Taste of Akron takes place from 6-10 p.m. Enjoy the full flavor of Akron with food samples from a variety of the areas best restaurants. There will be great food, live entertainment and fun events throughout the evening. Admission is free. Food samples will be available for $2, $4, and $6.

On Friday, July 24, from 6-8:30 p.m., there will be a Wine Tasting and Silent Auction event. Enjoy over 160 wines, beers from around the world, and hor d'oeuvres by Mark DiFeo. Also enjoy a free performance by Ballet Theatre of Ohio following the fundraiser at 8:45 p.m.

Tickets are $40, couples $75 and are available by calling 330-375-2836. The event is sponsored by Akron Life & Leisure Magazine and Catering by Mark DiFeo. All proceeds benefit the Akron Arts Expo artists, the children's area. Visa and MasterCard accepted for ticket and auction purchases.
