Coldplay Reschedules. The band's show at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland has been moved from July 6 to Oct. 21 as part of an overhaul of the tour schedule.
''The band have experienced some production delays which mean that the show simply won't be ready for June 29,'' when the tour was supposed to begin in Philadelphia, says a statement on the Coldplay Web site. ''It's very frustrating but they promise you a show worthy of your patience and understanding when they start in mid-July. All tickets remain valid, but refunds will be available from the point of purchase if you're unable to make it to the new date.''
The tour supports Viva La Vida, the band's new CD, which will be released on Tuesday. •
Newman Health Worries. Cleveland-born Oscar winner Paul Newman ''appears to have lost weight as well as some of his hair in the past few months,'' says the New York Daily News after studying recent photos of the actor, 83. That's fueling speculation that Newman is seriously ill.
In January, the National Enquirer said Newman was fighting cancer. Newman issued a statement cracking that he had athlete's foot and hair loss.
In May, the Daily News notes, Newman dropped out of directing a stage production of Of Mice and Men because of unspecified health problems.
On Monday, he missed a New York City event for his Hole in the Wall Gang Camps for children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases, which Newman helped fund. His rep told the News that Newman had back problems and ''has to stay off his feet for a couple of weeks.''

Fist in Mouth. Fox News anchor E.D. Hill has reportedly backpedaled from her description of a fist bump presidential contender Barack Obama and wife Michelle shared on the night he clinched the Democratic presidential nomination.
''A fist bump? A pound? A terrorist fist jab?'' she originally said. Then, on Tuesday, she offered this explanation:
''Want to start the show by clarifying something I said on the show last Friday about an upcoming body language segment,'' Hill said, according to a transcript from Media Matters for America. ''Now, I mentioned various ways the Obamas' fist pump in St. Paul had been characterized in the media. I apologize because unfortunately, some thought I personally had characterized it inappropriately. I regret that. It was not my intention. And I certainly didn't mean to associate the word 'terrorist' in any way to Senator Obama and his wife.''
By the way, I did a Google search of ''terrorist fist jab'' and all the ''media'' characterizations involved people quoting Hill.
