Historical Zoar Village is opening its garden gates to visitors June 25 for the Zoar Community Association's Beyond the Fences of Zoar garden tour and luncheon.
Eight private and three public gardens will be on the tour, and visitors can also attend gardening seminars throughout the day. An optional lunch at the Zoar Tavern will feature music by harpist Francesca Indorf.
Tour hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Lunch seatings are 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Tickets are $30 for the tour and lunch and $15 for the tour only. To buy tickets in advance, call 330-874-2646.
Advance tickets are required for lunch, but tour-only tickets will be available on tour day. Tickets will be sold in the morning at a booth in the south parking lot and in the afternoon at the Town Hall Museum.

Zoar, in Tuscarawas County, was founded in 1817 by religious dissenters from Germany and is now the site of a mixture of private homes, businesses and restored buildings open to the public.
Store anniversary
Andreas Furniture in Sugarcreek marks its 60th anniversary this year.
Founder Ranson Andreas built the business on customer service, a pressure-free sales philosophy and free delivery within a 100-mile radius. The store is now owned by his son, Terry.
As part of the yearlong celebration, the store will give away a monthly grand prize. To enter, visit the store. No purchase is necessary.
