Jen D’Aurelio, executive director of Paws and Prayers, said the agency is always looking for volunteers to foster rescued cats and dogs until they can be placed in permanent homes.
Foster parents may work full-time jobs during the day and successfully foster animals for the agency.
“They can incorporate an animal into their homes and their daily lives just as they do with their own pets,” D’Aurelio said.
