SUNDAY Off-trail hike 9 a.m. to noon. Meet at the Boston Store Visitor Center in Boston Township. The National Park Service is presenting an off-the-trail hike in the Cuyahoga Valley. For ages 12 and up; all children must be accompanied by adults. You will visit ravines and waterfalls with ranger Mike Kosmos. Wear sturdy shoes or boots, dress for the weather and bring water. Buddy Bike ride Buddy Bike will hold its second annual Buddy Bike Group Ride at 10:30 a.m. in the Cuyahoga Valley. The ride will feature Buddy Bicycle, tandem bikes that allow parents to seat youngsters in the front and still control the bike from the rear. Riders should meet at the park's Boston Store in Boston Township at 10 a.m. The cyclists will pedal along the Towpath Trail to the Beaver Marsh and back. You can reserve a Buddy Bike by calling 786-489-2453. Other bikes are welcome.

Nature walk 11 a.m. Meet at the trailhead off Akron Peninsula Road north of West Bath Road in Akron. Metro Parks, Serving Summit County, is sponsoring a nature walk along the 1.6-mile Spring Hollow Trail at Hampton Hills Metro Park. Call 330-865-8065 for more information.
