Q: I am trying to find a local source of linoleum tiles. Not vinyl. I found one dealer that sells sheet linoleum, but it is very hard to install, and most installers won't touch it. In trying to go green with using a flooring that does not contain petroleum, I am not having very good luck. Can you help me?

A: I found several local sources for Marmoleum, a brand of linoleum flooring from Forbo. It's made of linseed oil, wood flour, rosin and jute.
The dealers I found all sell Marmoleum tiles as well as Marmoleum Click, a product designed for installation by do-it-yourselfers. Click comes in 12-inch squares and 12-by-36-inch panels.
You can buy Marmoleum from Floors by RJ in Akron, 330-867-2991; Builders Diversified Inc. in Kent, 330-676-0600; Callahan's Carpet One in Hudson, 330-342-0101; Carpet Centre Carpet One in Barberton, 330-745-4454; and Cynthia J. Hoffman Interior Design in Akron, 330-253-0909.
