Food news from around the Web:
• We love http://www.culinate.com, a Portland, Ore., site that hooks you up with local farm markets and farmers recipes; vegetarian chef and cookbook author Deborah Madison has a monthly column, too.
• Foodnetwork.com might be where aspiring first ladies get their delicious ''family recipes'' for a reason; according to a recent Nielsen Online report, it has been the most popular food site, with 8.3 million users, for two consecutive years.
• One of the most popular video cooks is John Mitzewich, of YouTube fame. His own site is http://foodwishes.blogspot.com. We'll probably try making the cherry clafoutis with him.
