Feeling Fantastically Festive? A couple of upcoming events will help keep you in the mood.
The Screaming Tiki! Comic and Pop Culture Convention will be Friday through Sunday in the Eastwood Expo Center in Niles. And The Big Chuck and Lil' John Ghoulardifest IV will be the same days in the Holiday Inn Cleveland/South in Independence.
Screaming Tiki will feature, among other things, appearances by stars from TV's Batman series, including Adam West, Julie Newmar, Lee Meriwether and Yvonne Craig, still famous as Batgirl (and a memorable Star Trek appearance).
After appearing at 40th-anniversary events in 2006, Craig said she probably would not be back at conventions until the show's 50th anniversary — but the Screaming Tiki folks got her nonetheless.
Also expected are Noel Neill (Lois Lane in TV's Adventures of Superman), Margot Kidder (Lois in the Christopher Reeve Superman films), an array of comic-book artists, the Batmobile and Batcopter from the TV series and other attractions.
Hours are noon to 8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $15 for one day and $25 for the weekend; special packages include ''VIP Gold'' — which adds a ''swag bag'' and priority in autograph lines — for $50.
For ticket information and a complete schedule, go to http://www.screamingtikicon.com.

Meanwhile, in Independence . . . Ghoulardifest, named after TV legend Ernie ''Ghoulardi'' Anderson, will be 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday (with a costume party following at 8 p.m.) and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Participants will include Bob ''Hoolihan'' Wells, Chuck ''Big Chuck'' Schodowski, John ''Lil' John'' Rinaldi, Franz the Toymaker, Son of Ghoul, other personalities and local authors.
In addition, there will be copies for sale of Big Chuck!: My Favorite Stories From 47 Years on Cleveland TV, a new memoir by ''Big Chuck'' Schodowski with Tom Feran. The hardcover book, retailing for $19.95, is due in stores on Nov. 1 but fest attendees will get an early shot at it.
Tickets for GhoulardiFest are $15 for a single day, $30 for the weekend. Children under 12 get in free when accompanied by an adult. Ticket sale locations include JC Comics & Cards in Cuyahoga Falls, Spin More Records in Kent and Time Traveler CDs and DVDs in Cuyahoga Falls.
For more information, including a schedule, go to http://www.theghoulardifest.com.

But Wait, There's More. Massillon's Lions Lincoln Theatre will show The Mummy with Boris Karloff and The Mummy's Ghost with Lon Chaney Jr. in a double feature at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, at 6 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $3, or $4 with popcorn and a drink.
And this week's ''Thursday Movies at Main'' in the main Akron-Summit County Public Library's auditorium will be a double bill of 1934's The Black Cat with Karloff and Bela Lugosi and 1941's The Black Cat with Lugosi and Basil Rathbone. The show starts at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free.
