Kent gardener Holly Shaffer is back in the pages of Fine Gardening magazine.
An area of Shaffer's yard is featured in the December issue, illustrating her use of texture in the garden. The magazine also highlighted her skills in 2006, after she won both first-place and runner-up honors in its 2005 container design contest.

Whatever happened to Kent's "F.U. Bob?" I miss having him randomly giving people the middle finger.
The SmartPower contest on YouTube is very cool. I did it last year and it was a great community to talk about clean energy. And there some really good ads done, though they clearly made a mistake by not picking mine as a winner.
It would be cool to have a lot of people from around here do this. Ohio has to get energy efficient and this is a great way to start and show that Buckeyes are the best.

yeah! that SmartPower contest is an awesome idea! I didn't know about last year's contest, but my friend showed me their link on Facebook.
