Swim passes for Metro Parks, Serving Summit County, beaches at Munroe Falls and Silver Creek parks go on sale April 1.
Summit County residents can buy passes before the season starts at $25 for adults and teens and $10 for ages 2 to 12 and 65 and older. The out-of-county fees are $30 for adults and teens and $15 for ages 2 to 12 and seniors.
After May 22, the rates increase by $5 a person. Passes may be purchased online at http://www.summitmetroparks.org.
They are also available at park offices, 975 Treaty Line Road, Akron, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and Munroe Falls Metro Park, 521 S. River Road, Munroe Falls, and Silver Creek Metro Park, 5000 Hametown Road, Norton, from noon to 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays in May and daily during the swim season.
Both areas will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. May 23 through Aug. 23.
Daily admission is $4 for adults and teens and $3 for ages 2 to 12. Call 330-867-5511 for details.
