AKRON: Season swimming passes are available for Munroe Falls Metro Park on South River Road and Silver Creek Metro Park on Hametown Road in Norton.
Preseason tickets will be available at the parks on Saturday and Sunday and the park district's administrative offices at 975 Treaty Line Road in Akron, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. They can also be purchased online at http://summitmetroparks.org.
Cost is $25 for those ages 13-64 and $10 for seniors and those ages 2-12.
The season runs May 23 through Aug. 23. Season passes purchased May 23 or later cost $5 more. Daily swimming admission is $4 for adults and teens and $3 for children and seniors. Children under 2 are admitted free.
The free Summer Celebration will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. June 20 at both parks.
