The Elegant Egg is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 23 and 1 to 5 p.m. March 24 at First United Methodist Church, 263 E. Mill St., Akron.
Admission is $4.50, or free for children 12 or younger who are accompanied by adults. No strollers are permitted.
In addition to the display and sale of decorated eggs, the show includes pictures with the Easter bunny from 1 to 4 p.m. both days and egg-decorating classes at 2 p.m. March 23.

A pancake breakfast will be served from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 23. The breakfast is $6, or $4 for children ages 5 to 12. Children 4 or younger eat for free.
The show will also feature a display of some of the jewelry, purses and pysanky eggs created by former Peninsula resident Gwen Howe, who died in November. She founded the Ohio Egg Artists Guild, the show’s sponsor, and wrote and produced the publication Egger’s World for a number of years.
