Cocktails for Paws Benefiting PAWSibilities, Humane Society of Greater Akron — 7-10 p.m. at Ken Stewart’s Lodge, 1911 N. Cleveland-Massillon Road, Bath Township. Celebrity bartenders Bryan Edwards, Sarah Whitford, Nevin Nussbaum, Heather Kinaitis and Patrick Weschler will help raise funds for the animals at PAWSibilities. 5 percent of bar & lounge dining sales and 50 percent of the bartenders’ tips benefit the organization. www.summithumane.org.

Big Brothers & Sisters of Portage County $10,000 Giveaway — Tickets are on sale for Saturday raffle drawing. If all 200 tickets are sold, winner will have a choice of $10,000, a trip to St. Andrews, Scotland, or a trip to the Hawaiian Islands. Camp Tuscazoar Pig Roast — 3-7 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday in the camp dining hall, 6066 Boy Scout Road NE, Dover. Roast pork, barbecued chicken, green beans, corn, applesauce, baked potatoes, rolls and butter, beverage and homemade desserts.
