The University of Akron Press has released The Rest Is History: True Tales From Akron’s Vibrant Past, a compilation of Mark J. Price’s This Place, This Time columns from the Beacon Journal. It costs $19.95 from www.uakron.edu/uapress/. Price will sign the book at the Akron-Summit County Public Library’s Kenmore branch, 969 Kenmore Blvd., Akron, at an open house sponsored by the Kenmore Historical Society, noon to 3 p.m. Saturday.
