It’s time for Ohio Mart.

The art and craft showcase opens Thursday for a four-day run at Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens. The popular fall event offers entertainment, children’s activities and food as well as artisans’ booths.

There’s no Stitchery Showcase this year, but the Stan Hywet Needlework Guild will host a Stitcher’s Fair offering stitching kits and other needlework supplies.

Hours for Ohio Mart are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through next Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 6.

Regular admission is $9, or $2 for youth ages 6 to 17. Younger children are admitted free with an adult.

Showgoers also have the option of making a day of their visit by buying a combo ticket, which includes admission to the Manor House for a self-guided tour and the opportunity to see the Inspiration in Bloom flower display and attend a lecture on fall home decor called Fallscape. The lecture is offered twice daily, at 10:15 a.m. and 2 p.m., and is open on a first-come, first-served basis.

Combo tickets are $15, or $5 for youth.

Tickets are available at the door or in advance at 330-315-3287 or www.stanhywet.org.

Stan Hywet is at 714 N. Portage Path, Akron.
