Moody Bible Institute distant learning undergraduate classes will begin this month at Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy in Cuyahoga Falls, The Chapel in Marlboro and Hope Alliance Bible Church in Maple Heights.
Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy, 4687 Wyoga Lake Road, will offer Bible Introduction (3 credit hours) and Spiritual Life & Community (3 credit hours) 6 to 9 p.m. on Mondays, Aug. 19 through Oct. 14. Old Testament Survey (4 credit hours) will be offered 6 to 10 p.m. on Thursdays, Aug. 22 through Oct. 10.
New Testament Survey will also be available 6 to 10 p.m. Mondays, Aug. 19 through Oct. 14, at The Chapel in Marlboro, 8700 Edison St. NE, (state Route 619). The Church & Its Doctrines (3 credit hours) will also be offered 6 to 9 p.m. on Mondays during the same time frame. Studying and Teaching the Bible (4 credit hours) will be offered on Saturday mornings from Aug. 24 through Oct. 12.
The schedule at Hope Alliance Bible Church includes New Testament Survey and The Church and Its Doctrines on Thursdays, 6 to 10 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m., respectively. The Maple Heights classes run Aug. 22 through Oct. 10.
Each course runs for eight weeks. Chicago-based Moody Bible Institute offers undergraduate, graduate and distance learning programs to train students for full-time Christian ministry. The Bible College was founded in 1886 by evangelist and businessman Dwight L. Moody and is accredited through the Higher Learning Commission-North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and the Association of Theological Schools.
