Special Cats and Kittens Adoption — Pawsibilities, Humane Society of Greater Akron, has more than a dozen kittens available for adoption, along with 70-plus adult cats looking for homes. Save Ohio Strays (SOS) Dog Days of August — Save Ohio Strays (SOS) is offering dogs over 5 years old for $50 in August. Fee includes spay/neuter and up-to-date vaccinations, worming and up-to-date heartworm prevention. Many also have received x-rays, dental cleaning/exams, blood work and more. Fourth Annual Wheelin and Dealin for PAWS Poker Run — Registration at 9:30 a.m. today for a run that will start and end at the Quaker Steak and Lube, 5935 Canal Road, Valley View.
