After Jill Chang battled her second cancer diagnosis in 2011, it was determined through genetic testing that she has Lynch Syndrome, a hereditary condition that raises the risk of cancer. Her mother Karen Oesch died in December from complications from cancer treatments. Her sons will be tested for Lynch Syndrome when they are 18-years-old. (Karen Schiely/Akron Beacon Journal)
