Annunication celebrates 100 years

To celebrate its 100th anniversary, Annunciation Catholic Church will hold ''The Grand Celebration'' Sunday. The event at the church, 87 Broad St., Akron, will begin with a 10:30 a.m. Liturgy. That will be followed by a 2 p.m. dinner at St. George Antiochian Fellowship Centre, 3204 Ridgewood Road, Akron.

The afternoon centennial event will include dinner and refreshments catered by Joe Catalano, door prizes, 50/50 raffle, and a variety of entertainment by former members of Annunciation A.C.T.O.R., produced by the Rev. James Berardi and directed by Jerry Keller.

Tickets are $16, $10 for children under 12. Call 330-535-4141.
