The African Children's Choir will perform at 7 p.m. Friday at Victory Life Church, 3833 Hudson Drive, Stow.
The internationally renowned choir has toured the world for 25 years, entertaining millions at special events to raise awareness of the plight of children in Africa. Each child in the choir comes from extreme poverty and many have lost at least one parent.
The concert is free but an offering will be taken to support the choir's education, care and relief programs in Africa. Focusing on education, the choir cares for more than 7,000 children in Uganda, Kenya, South Africa, Rwanda, Sudan, Nigeria and Ghana.
