A special program focusing on issues related to Alzheimer’s, dementia and delirium is set for 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. next Saturday at First Congregational United Church of Christ Tallmadge, 85 Heritage Drive.
The goal of the program, called Transitions with Dignity and Grace, is to help families cope with the impact of the illnesses. Information will be provided by speakers from the medical, family and spiritual and legal communities. There will also be a question-and-answer period.
The event is sponsored by Life’s Journey Ministry for Caregivers and the Elder’s Fellowship of the church. Refreshments will be served. Donations of $5 per person or $10 per family will be accepted at the door.
