The 200th anniversary of the Battle of Lake Erie will be celebrated with many events. Here are some. (A complete listing can be found at www.visitputinbay.com and www.shoresandislands.com.)

Friday — Historical demonstrations, educational exhibits and food, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., DeRivera Park

Friday — U.S. Coast Guard Band, 6 p.m., Perry’s Monument

Friday through Sept. 1 — Concert in the park series, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., DeRivera Park gazebo

Friday through Sept. 1 — U.S. Brig Niagara tours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Put-in-Bay Harbor

Friday through Sept. 1 — Tall-ship Windy day sails, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Put-in-Bay Harbor

Saturday — The Official Almost True Campfire Tales of Put-in-Bay. A play for audiences of all ages. 4 p.m., DeRivera Park

Sept. 1 — Ohio State University marching band performance, 8 p.m., Perry’s Monument

Sept. 1 — Fireworks, 9:30 p.m., Put-in-Bay Harbor

Sept. 2 — Battle of Lake Erie re-enactment, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Put-in-Bay Harbor

Sept. 3 — Historians discussing the War of 1812 and its repercussions, 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., Perry’s Monument Visitor Center

Sept. 7 — War of 1812 parade, 2:15 p.m., downtown Put-in-Bay

Sept. 10 — Bicentennial ceremony, starting with a wreath-laying ceremony, 10 a.m., Perry’s Monument
