Chris Bryant to appear on 'Ellen' the same day ad is broadcast on Internet

Chris Bryant's car-jumping skills will soon be something for the world to watch on an Internet commercial.
A Nike online commercial featuring the Akronite will debut on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to be aired Monday.
Bryant, 23, will appear for the third time on the DeGeneres show as the new commercial that will be placed on Nike Web sites is first broadcast.
Nike will be selling blue and orange Chris Bryant car-jumper running shoes as well.
The commercial, said Dean Stoyer, Nike U.S. Media Relations director, will be placed on Nike Web sites.
The car-jumping skills of Bryant, who waits and buses tables at Akron's Waterloo Restaurant, were first featured in a Beacon Journal story and video on the newspaper's Web site, http://www.ohio.com in May.
The DeGeneres show is aired 4 p.m. Monday through Friday on WKYC Channel 3 (Time Warner Cable channel 2).
Amy Prenner, publicist for the DeGeneres program, said Bryant was in Los Angeles Thursday to tape Monday's program.
''He is going to premiere his first-ever Nike commercial and show Ellen some behind the scenes from the commercial,'' Prenner said.
The DeGeneres Web site, http://www.ellen.warnerbros.com has described Bryant as a ''human grasshopper.''
Akron businessman Bacari K. Brown, who worked with Bryant in May and took him to New York City to film a speculative commercial, said he was happy for Bryant.
''I am extremely proud of Chris,'' Brown said. ''This goes to show that when you have clear defined goals, the sky is the limit.''
Bryant, who attended Akron's Garfield High School and graduated from a school in Atlanta, flew into California on Wednesday night for the taping of the show.
Bryant, who narrates the commercial, said in an interview from his California hotel room that he hasn't seen the finished version, but the theme is simple.
''Just do it,'' he said.
''Get up and do what you are best at.''
