A woman found lying on the bank of Noble Pond in Jackson Township on Feb. 24 died of exposure, investigators said.
The Stark County Coroner's Office said a contributing factor to Marva B. Campbell's death was ''acute alcohol intoxication.''
Toxicology tests revealed she had a blood-alcohol level of 0.21 percent, a coroner's office investigator said.
Campbell, 52, of Scarborough Road Northwest in Jackson, was found shortly before 5 p.m. by a neighbor.
She had been missing about 18 hours. The coroner's office said the woman apparently fell in the pond and crawled to the bank.
Campbell was found about 50 feet from an area of the pond that was partially frozen.
