The Zoar Community Association will host a Garden Tour and Luncheon from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Zoar Tavern, 162 Main St. in Zoar. Tour eight private gardens and three public gardens, luncheon seatings at 11 a.m. or 1 p.m.; garden professionals will present mini-gardening seminars and a silent auction will be held. $30 with luncheon; $15 without luncheon. 330-874-2646.
Camp Fire USA Northeast Ohio Council will begin taking bids for a silent auction of a Monopoly game signed by NFL kickers Chris and Matt Bahr. Bids accepted by mail to Camp Fire USA Northeast Ohio, 445 W. Liberty St., Suite 216, Medina, OH 44256. Include your name, address, phone number and amount of bid. Highest bid will be contacted by phone; in case of a tie, postmarks will be a factor.

Akron Children's Hospital and the BlackHawks Youth Group will benefit from funds raised at the Drum Solo Marathon being held beginning at noon at the Margarita Factory, 6081 Dressler Road, Jackson Township. The Akron Symphony Orchestra Guild will host the annual Tour of Homes on Portage Lakes on July 16. Guests will board pontoon boats for a guided tour of five homes. The Medina Knights of Columbus #4168 will host the Tim Feron Memorial Family Picnic from 1 to 5 p.m. at Camp Paradise, 4279 Paradise Road, 2 miles east of state Route 3 in southern Medina.
