Akron City Scrap crushed 300 instant bingo machines Monday that were seized as part of a joint state and federal investigation in 2001.
Officers from the Summit County Sheriff's Office, Akron Police and the Ohio Attorney General's investigative unit took part in the case that targeted instant bingo operations that claimed to be raising money for charity.
