Macedonia resident who killed Munroe Falls man on I-77 released on bond
By Ed Meyer

A 19-year-old Macedonia woman was charged Tuesday with felony hit-skip and vehicular homicide in connection with last month's fatal accident on Interstate 77 in Green.
Deborah C. Reville made her initial appearance with an attorney before Barberton Municipal Court Judge David E. Fish and was released on a $20,000 bond.
Summit County Sheriff's deputy Wes Dobbins said charges were authorized Monday.
Dobbins said the victim, Nicholas A. Lueck, 21, of Munroe Falls, was struck and killed at about 5 a.m. Aug. 31 as he was walking south on I-77.
The collision occurred in the dark, Dobbins said, while Reville and her boyfriend were moving their belongings from Jackson Township into a new apartment in Macedonia.
Dobbins said there was no evidence of alcohol or drug use by Reville.
''She admitted it, and she left. She made a mistake, and now she's paying for it,'' Dobbins said.
According to the Summit County Medical Examiner's Office, Lueck's blood-alcohol content was .257 percent more than three times the state limit.
Dobbins said they are investigating why Lueck was walking on the interstate.
After Dobbins released a vehicle description in newspaper and television accounts of the fatality, a tip led him to the vehicle at an apartment complex in Jackson Township, he said.
Reville was later questioned about the incident and confessed, Dobbins said.
Her next appearance in municipal court is scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday.
Reville's lawyer, Hank Meyer, called the incident a tragedy for the victim's family and his client.

Tragic
look genius, she left and knew dam well she hit someone. she aint no poor girl either, maybe she was drunk also, but we will never know will we.
That's right he was walking, he wasn't drunk and driving down the road since you know drunk drivers KILL people...he was walking...she admitted that she knew she hit him, went to the next exit, turned around, came back, found him, saw that he was dead and left him there. And I'm sorry, but no one gets up that early on a weekend to move, she was probably drunk and scared of getting a DUI and hit and run since the laws are harsher...I think she is selfish and deserves way more then she's probably going to end up getting...he was an amazing person...the worst part about it, is that meself and several other people wouldn't be so angry if she at least tried to call for help, even and annonymous tip, because we get it was an accident, but she has no soul to leave him there...to hell with her...
very sad
I find it very odd that no one is mentioning the obvious problems that Nick Lueck had. In fact it is a little sickening to me to hear the things that his mother had to say about Nick. Did you forget the part where you only let Nick in your house once in awhile just to shower? Is this person's lawyer looking into Nick's record at all? Or how about the numerous statements and police reports filed against him?? Why was Nick WASTED illegally walking on 77 at 4am??? Is anyone asking questions here? I just don't think this young girl's life should be ruined if he did this intentionally. How many times has Nick Lueck tried to committ suicide??? Accidents happen people the girl was in total shock. What would you have done?? No one can say. This is extremely sad what has happened to everyone. My family is heartbroken over Nick. It is a serious tragedy. But, we also know Nick and we have been waiting to hear something like this for quite awhile. I just want to know all the facts. Who did he talk to on the phone? What did he say? Where was he coming from?? This is not a case closed thing. This is an outrage that people are letting this girl go down without asking the painfully obvious questions.
In response to post by "Cory", you have no compassion for a human being! You say your family is heartbroken by the death of Nick, but you then so cruely say these mean things about him and his mother? Are you perfect? everyone has made mistakes in life.. that doesnt mean they deserve to be ran over and left out on the highway all alone! This young girls actions after she hit Nick are why she is being charged rightfully so! If you have a drivers license and are alert enough to stop and look at the person you hit and then take off then you are guilty of a crime!! What was she hiding?? AND for the record.. Nick was doing great in his life and had turned around his life completely in the past year of his life and he had the bigger Heart than most people in this world!! You dont know the facts, so leave his memory and family alone!
He turned his life around but his BAC was over 3 times the legal limit and he was walking on 77 at 4am??? Sounds supicious to me. All I'm saying is that questions should be asked. I don't think a 19yr old girl should be punished for the rest of her life if this was intentional on HIS part. When someone has made remarks about taking their life on the interstate questions get raised in your head. Like you said Lynn everyone makes mistakes yet you say this girl should be charged? YOU have no compassion.
Unless I am mistaken, The State of Ohio is doing the charging - Its the Law - Shoud an exception be made here - In this day and age of Zero Tolerance
The fact that this girl committed a crime of Hit and run, will keep us from ever knowing if she was perhaps drinking and driving...so with that said, if she was drinking, would she then deserve to be punished??? Be realistic Cory..she ran for a reason.. HELLO!! and Nick was hit from behind, so you can drop your theory on this being intentional on his part.. everyone that knew Nick and loved him knows he did not do this on purpose..and yes many 21 yr olds sometimes have a lil too much to drink.. doesnt mean they deserve for something like this to happen. Its an unfortunate tragedy and Nick is missed terribly by many people. If you truely knew him, you wouldnt be commenting on him in this manner.
Hi ... This is Nick's little sister by 12 months and 25 days... Amanda Lueck...
Some of the things on here blew me away at first, but then I realized that it is a place where people (I suppose) come to vent...
Go for it! ... It is not my website...
But, I do ask that you don't say things about my family... (though I know people still will)
Here is who Nick Lueck is...
Nick was born on July 22, 1987
He was a beautiful baby boy, with the biggest eyebrows I have ever seen (really lol he was still cute though)...
Nick's Dads name is Chris Lueck
Moms name is Angela Lueck
Brother- Mike Lueck
Sister- Amanda (thats me!)
Nick and I used to beat the crap out of eachother when we were little...
But, that all changed around the ages of 16-17... Nick and I grew into the BEST of friends... we could talk to eachother about pretty much anything... He was always there to watch over me and I would do the same for him...
We would give eachother advice on LIFE (growing up is tough, it is wonderful to be able to talk to your family and ask them for advice)...
His favorite color is: Burgundy (I do believe)
Favorite movie growing up was: Dumb and Dumber, which my Aunt Kelly got for him one year; that he eventually lost to a buddy playing poker (O:
He loved to... BE outside, sleep, be in the water - water sports and what not, be with his family, spend time with his girlfriend and his friends...
He loved to get new clothes... Hes a cutie my brother...
Some of his most favorite people: his little cousins Travis and Brandon
- just recently he and his girlfriend went to see them play pee-wee football and nick loved it!!!
I'll add more later...
